How to Make Coquito without Eggs

Ingredients:

  • 4 oz raisins

  • 1 1/2 cups dark rum

  • 2 cinnamon sticks

  • 1 (14 oz) can sweeten condensed milk

  • 1 (15 oz) can cream of coconut

  • 1 (13.5 oz) can coconut milk

  • 4 oz evaporated milk

  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 4 tablespoons shredded coconut, optional

Instructions:

Below is the step-by-step how to make coquito without eggs. It's easy to follow.

Step 1. Mix raisins, dark rum, and cinnamon sticks in a large pitcher with a lid. Let sit for 1 hour.

Step 2. While waiting, blend all the other ingredients by using a blender.

Step 3. After an hour, pour the blended mixture into the pitcher and shake it to combine with rum-raisins mixture.

Step 4. Let the mixture sit again for at least 4 hours. Now, you can have your coquito.

Step 5. Save it in an airtight container and put it in the refrigerator. It can last for a month.

Step 6. Before pouring, make sure to shake vigorously to mix all the parts well.
