  • 2.5 g clove bud essential oil
  • 1.5 g allspice essential oil
  • pumpkin pie spice for sprinkling

Instructions:

Step 1. Firstly, you need to thread the wicks through a wick holder and place the wicks tabs to the bottom of your jar firmly using hot glue. Then, place the jars on a tray and heat them to the lowest heat in the oven until you are ready to pour the wax. Set it aside.

Step 2. In a melting pot, melt the soy wax with 1/3 of water until it becomes simmer. You need to be careful of the hot steam rising from the pot. Stir the wax until all of them is melted, you may also use the microwave to melt the wax.

Step 3. Once it is simmering, let the wax cool until it reaches 155 degrees Fahrenheit. Then, add the essential oils and stir to combine them well.

Step 4. When the mixture is well-combined, fill each container with the wax until 1 cm below the rim of the jar. You need to make sure for the wick stays in the centre of the jar.

Step 5. After that, sprinkle every jar with a pinch of pumpkin spice and arrange the whole spices. Then, let it cooled at room temperature, for a better result, let it sit overnight.

Step 6. After a night, remove the wick holder and trim the wicks to 0.6 cm.

  • 2 wood craft sticks

Instructions:

Step 1. In the top of a double boiler, pour 4 cups of soy flakes and fill the bottom half of the double boiler with water. Then, set the double boiler in medium-high heat and heat the wax until it is melted. You need to stir it in the middle of the melting process.

Step 2. Apply hot glue to the bottom of a tabbed wick and place it into the centre of a mason jar. Press down slightly to ensure that the glue sticks to the glass.

Step 3. Add the essential oils to the wax once it is melted and reaches 185 degrees Fahrenheit. Then, add 1 oz. of oil for each pound of wax.

Step 4. After that, stir the oil into the melted wax, you can adjust the fragrance if it is still not too strong you can add more, but do not add more than 2 oz. for each pound of wax since it will too oily for the wax.

Step 5. Once the wax rach 200 degrees, pour it on the jar while keeping the wick in place with two wood craft sticks placed on each side of the wick.

Step 6. When the wax is hardened, remove the wooden stick and trim the wick to 0.6 cm.

  • 2 cups of soy wax flakes
  • 1 candlewick w/weighted bottom
  • 1 teaspoon of coffee grounds 
  • wood stick
  • 1 brown or tan crayon
  • Mason Jar

Instructions:

Step 1. Heat up the wax over low heat in a non-stick pan and stir it often until it heats up. Then, tint the wax to add colour using tan crayon. Drop the broken pieces into the wax mixture. Stir it well.

Step 2. Prepare the jar by placing the wick by wrapping it around a wooden stick. Then, set the stick over the cup and let the weight of the wicked drop to the bottom of the container.

Step 3. Remove the wax from the heat and pour it into the jar and take half of the coffee grounds to sprinkle them into the mixture.

Step 4. Place the candle a room temperature and let it harden. After 30 minutes, before it is hardened, sprinkle the top of the candle with the remaining coffee grounds.

Ingredients:

  • 1 digital kitchen scale
  • 1 candle thermometer
  • 2 centring devices
  • 1 candle melting pitcher
  • 2 heat-safe ramekins
  • 20 ounces virgin coconut soy candle wax
  • 2 pre-waxed cotton wicks 
  • 2 ounces vanilla oil

Instructions:

Step 1. Firstly, measure the wax about 20-ounces of soy wax flakes for 2 jars of candles. After that, melt the soy wax in a candle melting pitcher.

Step 2. Place the pitcher in a large saucepan filled with 2-inches of water. Heat on medium-low heat using the double boiler method and make sure to stir it often with a metal whisk.

Step 3. Once it is simmer, remove the wax from the heat and clip a candle thermometer to measure the temperature while it is cooling down to 120 degrees Fahrenheit before adding 2-ounces of vanilla oil. Mix it well constantly for 2 minutes.

Step 4. Once the wax starts to get a little bit to harden, dip the metal tab of each cotton wick into the wax and place it carefully centre to the bottom of the jar.

Step 5. Using centring devices, keep the wick centred while pouring the wax mixture into the jar. Let the wax harden for about 1 hour and trim the wick to about 1/4 inch and light it up!
