1. Remove One Section Break Manually in Word

This approach will walk you by displaying all paragraph marks and secret formatting symbols in a Word document and manually deleting the specified section break. The steps are as follows:

Step 1. Tao Home > 

(Show/Hide Editing Marks) to see all paragraph marks and hidden formatting symbols in the current document.

Step 2. Move the cursor to the specified segment break and delete it with the Delete key. 

Step 3. To remove further segment breaks and repeat Step 2 above.

2. Remove All Section Breaks With Find And Replace Feature In Word

You may also use Word's Find and Replace feature to delete all segment breaks from a current document. Follow these instructions::

Step 1. Press Home > Replace (or press Ctrl + H keys simultaneously) to open the Find and Replace dialog box.

Step 2. In the coming Find and Replace dialog box, (1) type ^b in the Find what box, (2) type nothing in the Replace with box, and then (3) click the Replace All button.

Step 3. A Microsoft Word dialogue box appears, informing you of the number of segment breaks it has removed. To close it, press the OK button.

Step 4. Close the Find and Replace dialog box. After that, all section breaks have been removed from the current document already.

Breaks are hidden by default. Here's how to remove section breaks in Word 2010 if you want to remove a break.

Step 1. Press the Show/Hide command on the Home page.

Step 2. Find the break you want to delete. Insert the insertion point at the start of the break you wish to remove.

Step 3. Press the Delete key on your keyboard. The break will be deleted from the document.

To remove a manual page break:
