Step 3. After a few minutes, knead the dough to pop the air bubbles and put the dough in a slightly-oiled loaf tray.

Step 4. Freeze the dough in the freezer until it’s frozen and remove it from the tray.

2. Freezing Homemade Bread

Step 4. Put the bread in the freezer and it can be eaten within 6 months.

3. Freezing Store Bought Bread

You can also freeze store-bought bread. Freezing store-bought bread is even simpler and easier because you can just put it directly in the freezer since it’s already wrapped in a plastic bag. The plastic bag will help protect the bread for a few weeks to a few months.

Step 2. After that, wrap the banana bread again in a zip loc bag, airtight container, or aluminum foil.

Step 4. Put the bread in the freezer. The bread can be eaten within four months.

5. Freezing Zucchini Bread

Freezing zucchini bread is similar to freezing banana bread. You can also freeze the bread in a whole loaf, half loaf, and slices. And these are the steps that you can follow to freeze zucchini bread.

Step 1. Wrap the zucchini bread in a plastic wrap.

Step 2. After that, wrap the zucchini bread again in a zip loc bag, airtight container, or aluminum foil.

Step 3. Put a label on the wrap and then write the date.

Step 4. Put the bread in the freezer. The bread can be stored until 6 months, but it is better to eat it within 4 months since the quality of the bread hasn’t reduced much.

6. Freezing Sourdough Bread

Sourdough bread can also be frozen. The steps are also similar to freezing other types of bread, and you can store it as a whole loaf, half loaf, and slices, whatever most convenient for you. So, here are the steps of freezing bread you can follow.

Step 1. Wrap the sourdough bread in a plastic wrap.

Step 2. After that, wrap the sourdough bread again in a zip loc bag, airtight container, or aluminum foil.

Step 3. Put a label on the wrap and then write the date.

Step 4. Put the bread in the freezer. The bread can be stored until 6 months. Sourdough bread that is stored in the freezer will continue to sour at a very slow rate, so you don’t worry about the flavor, because the flavor continues to develop even though the bread is stored in the freezer.
