  • 8 chicken breasts
  • 8 cups of water
  • 4 tbsp of salt
  • 4 tbsp of sugar

Instructions:

Step 1. In a large pot, combine enough water, salt, and sugar.

Step 2. Heat the pot over medium-high heat and stir until the salt and sugar are dissolved.

Step 3. Bring the water to a boil then turn off the heat. Let the mixture cools down before you add the chicken.

Step 4. Once the mixture cools down, add the chicken breasts and make sure that all chicken breasts are submerged in the brine. Brine the chicken for about 15 minutes.

Step 5. Drain the chicken and rinse with running water. Pat dry the chicken with a paper towel to remove the moisture.

So, how to brine chicken wings and makes it even tastier? You can follow the instructions below to make it, but first, you need to prepare the ingredients, such as:

  • 3 pounds of chicken wings
  • 6 cups of water
  • ¼ cup of white wine vinegar
  • ⅓ cup of salt
  • ⅓ cup of sugar
  • 2 tbsp of white pepper
  • 2 tbsp of black pepper

Instructions:

Step 1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the water, vinegar, salt, sugar, white pepper, and black pepper. 

Step 2. Stir the mixture thoroughly until the sugar and salt are dissolved.

Step 3. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and store in the fridge overnight.

Step 4. Place the chicken wings in a bowl and pour the mixture until all the wings are submerged.

Step 5. Cover the chicken bowl with plastic wrap and store it in the fridge for about 2 to 4 hours.

Step 6. Drain the chicken and rinse with running water. Pat dry with a paper towel to remove moisture.

3. How to Brine Chicken Thighs

Chicken thighs also taste better if your brine it. Just like bringing other parts of the chicken, brining chicken thighs needs only a few ingredients. So, how to brine chicken thighs? Here are the ingredients that you should prepare first:

  • 8 chicken thighs
  • 4 cups of water
  • 3 tbsp of salt
  • 1 tbsp of ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp of lemon juice
  • 1 tsp of vinegar
  • 2 clove of garlic
  • 2 bay leaves

Instructions:

Step 1. In a large bowl, combine the water, salt, black pepper, lemon juice, vinegar, garlic, and bay leaves. Mix well until the salt is dissolved.

Step 2. Add the chicken thighs to the bowl and cover the bowl with a plastic wrap.

Step 3. Store the chicken in the fridge for about 2 to 3 hours. You can also store the chicken overnight.

Step 4. Remove the chicken from the brine and pat dry with a paper towel to remove the moisture.
