Ingredients:

6-pound ribeye roast

1 tablespoon salt

1/2 teaspoon fresh cracked pepper

3 tablespoons vegetable oil or truffle oil

Instructions:

Step 1. Start by preheating the oven to 400 degrees.

Step 2. Place roast in a shallow roasting pan and drizzle little vegetable oil or melted butter over the toast

Step 3. Now prepare a small bowl and combine salt, garlic, and seasonings.

Step 4. Then brush the ribeye roast with the mixture.

Step 5. Bake the ribeye roast approximately for 20 minutes for each pound of meat.

Step 6. Reduce the heat to 325 degrees F and continue cooking for one to 2 hours until the roast is reddish-pinky and juicy.

Step 7. Use an instant-read thermometer to check the temperature. Make sure it reaches about 110 degrees F or you can adjust based on your desire.

Ingredients:

  • 5 pounds boneless ribeye roast
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar 
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons kosher salt
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh thyme or 2 teaspoons dried thyme
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh rosemary or 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions:

Step 1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Then place roast with fat side up in a shallow roasting pan.

Step 2. Brush the ribeye roast with balsamic vinegar

Step 3. In a small bowl, combine garlic, thyme, rosemary, salt, and olive oil to make a paste. Then cover the roast with paste and place in a pan.

Step 4. Bake for at least 15 minutes. After that reduce heat to 325 degrees F. 

Step 5. Continue roasting for about 2 hours for a medium cook. You check the temperature with a thermometer. When the thermometer registers 135 to 140 degrees F, you will get perfectly cooked ribeye toast.

Step 6. Remove roast from oven and tent with foil. Allow resting for 15 to 20 minutes before you slice it.

Bone-in ribeye roast is also a delicious meal to serve in the holiday season. It is usually served with a tempting red wine pan sauce! Here is the recipe on how to cook a ribeye roast:

Ingredients:

  • 8-pound bone-in standing rib roast
  • 2 pounds of baby potatoes
  • 1/2 cup of red wine cabernet sauvignon
  • 2 cups of beef stock
  • 2 ounces of unsalted butter
  • Kosher salt and fresh cracked pepper to taste
  • 30 sprigs of fresh thyme
  • rosemary leaves from 2 sprigs
  • 6 garlic cloves + 2 finely minced
  • 1/2 peeled shallot, 1/2 finely minced
  • 1/3 cup of extra virgin olive oil

Instructions:

Step 1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F

Step 2. Prepare food processor and pure thyme, rosemary, 6 garlic cloves, 1/2 peeled shallot, and olive oil until it becomes like a paste.

Step 3. Add 3/4 garlic and paste to ribeye toast. Spread evenly. Then sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Step 4. Now bake the toast approximately for 25 minutes. After that turn down the heat to 325 degrees F and cook again for an hour.

Step 5. If you want to add potatoes, first mixture garlic, pasta, salt, and pepper in a small bowl. 

Step 6. Then, coat the potato with the mixture. Add potatoes to the pan in the last 25 minutes of cooking ribeye roast.

Step 7. When ribeye roast and potatoes are perfectly cooked, remove them from the pan. Allow for rest.

Step 8.  Add 2 finely minced cloves of garlic and shallot then sautee for 2 minutes. Then, add the wine and cook again for 4 minutes. Sprinkle with salt and pepper before serving.
