1. Flat wrap hair with a curling iron

This is one of the popular choices of how to curl your hair. For this technique, we recommend a 1-inch curling hair.

The technique will create a wide curl with lots of volumes. It's perfect for you who have fine hair and wants more volume.

For this curl, we also recommend about 1-½” - 2” sections. Follow these steps below to get a perfect flat wrap hair!

STEP 1. Take a vertical section first. Then, don't forget to use thermal heat spray so that your hair can be protected. Use a wide-tooth comb to spread the spray evenly. Now, choose the direction of the curl (toward your face or away from your face).

STEP 2. Make sure you don't twist your hair around the iron but keep the section flat while wrapping it around your iron.

STEP 3. Continue wrapping your hair until the ends. Don't curl the last 2" or so if you want your curling hair looks natural.

2. Spiral curls with a curling iron

We still recommend 1-inch curling iron and heat protection before you do this amazing trick of how to curl your hair. This choice will make your hair looks like a spiral.

You will take smaller sections like what you do to make a flat wrap hair before, but after that, you will wrap the twisted section around the curling iron to make the spiral effect. This choice will create a tight spiral curl with a special texture.

Now, follow the steps!

STEP 1. Take a small section and spray it with thermal heat spray. Then, twist the section from the base to end. You can also braid the section instead of twisting it.

STEP 2. The important thing here is to twist and wrap the section around the curling iron all in the same direction. Twist and wrap your hair in the outwards from your face, if you want the curled section away from your face.

STEP 3. Wrap the section around your curling iron and let it heat up.

STEP 4. After you do it to all sections of your hair, shake your curls out with your finger to add more volume.
