Step 1. Open the Adobe Acrobat software on your computer. Once the software is opened, go to the Tools tab and choose the Prepare Form option.

Step 2. After that, select the file or document that you need to make fillable. The Adobe Acrobat software will analyze your document and insert the form field automatically.

Step 3. Next, add the new form fields by using the toolbar at the top. You can also adjust the positions of the form fields with the tools located on the right pane of the screen.

Step 4. Once the document set, you can click Save and store it on your computer, or you can also share it with your audience by clicking the Distribute option.

Step 1. Open the PDF document that you want to make editable using Adobe Pro software. 

Step 2. Once your document is opened, click the Tools option located on the top right of your screen to open the sidebar.

Step 3. Next, select the Forms option and a submenu will appear. Choose the Edit menu.

Step 4. Then, choose the Add New File under the Tasks option. After that, choose the Text Field option. 

Step 5. Now you can start editing your PDF document. You can also double-click the text box and select the Properties option to format your text. You can adjust the font size, text color, alignment, and etc. 

Step 6. Once you finished editing your PDF document, you can click Save and store it on your computer.

Besides the method above, you can also make a PDF file editable from Microsoft Word. And here’s how to do it.

Step 1. Open the Microsoft Word Software on your computer and go to File. Next, select the Open menu and find the PDF document that you want to edit and open.

Step 2. After that, a pop-up window will appear that notify you that Microsoft Word will make a copy of your PDF document and convert the contents into a format that Microsoft Word can show.

Step 1. Open the Adobe Acrobat DC on your computer and go to the Tools menu.

Step 2. Then, open the Optimize PDF tool loathed on the Protect & Standardize option. Click the arrow on the drop-down menu and select Open.

Step 3. A dialog box will open and find the PDF document that you want to compress and click Open.

Step 4. Once the document is opened, select the Reduce File Size option located on the top menu and set the compatibility, and click OK.

Step 5. Once you’re finished compressing your PDF document, you can click Save and store the document on your computer.
