- 6 (about 4 pounds) bone-in short ribs
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 white onion diced
- 2 to 3 cloves garlic crushed
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 sprig of fresh rosemary

Step 1. Preheat the oven to 176 degrees Celsius.
Step 2. Season the short ribs on both sides with salt and pepper.
Step 3. Preheat an oven-safe, large pot over high heat. Enable to heat for a few minutes after adding the olive oil. Short ribs can be seared in olive oil for around 1 minute per hand. Remove the pot from the heat and set it aside.
Step 4. Add the onion and cook for 2–3 minutes. Sauté for another minute after adding the garlic.
Step 5. Add the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce to the cup. Bring to a low boil, then reduce to low heat. Toss in the meat. Cover with a rosemary sprig.
Step 6. Cover and bake for around 2.5 hours, or until beef is tender, in a preheated oven.
