1. Chocolate Lava Cake Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 4oz of unsalted butter
  • 6oz of bittersweet chocolate
  • ¼ cup of sugar
  • 2 tbsp of all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 eggs yolks
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions:

Step 1. Preheat oven to 450 °F or 232 °C.

Step 2. Prepare four ramekins and grease with butter and dust with a little bit of flour. Put the ramekins on top of a baking tray.

Step 3. Set a double boiler and melt the butter with the chocolate.

Step 4. Meanwhile, combine the eggs, egg yolks, sugar, and salt in a mixing bowl. Beat with a mixer at high speed until thickened.

Step 5. Stir the chocolate until smooth and pour it into the egg mixture. Also, add the flour to the egg mixture and fold quickly until well-combined.

Step 6. Divide the batter evenly into each ramekin and bake them in the oven for 12 minutes.

Step 7. Take out from the oven and let sit for 1 minute. After that, cover each ramekin with a dessert plate and carefully flip the ramekin over and unmold the lava cake. Bon appetite!

2. Green Tea Molten Lava Cake Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 3 tbsp of unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 tbsp of all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup of white chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup of sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tbsp of matcha powder

Instructions:

Step 1. Set a double boiler and melt the chocolate. Stir the chocolate occasionally until smooth. 

Step 2. Turn off the heat and let the chocolate sit on top of the double boiler to keep warm and add the melted butter. Stir well until combined.

Step 3. After that, add the sugar to the melted white chocolate and butter, stir well until the sugar is dissolved.

Step 4. Add the egg and whisk until smooth. Next, add the flour and whisk again. Lastly, add the matcha powder and whisk well until well-combined.

Step 5. Prepare two 4oz ramekins and grease the inside with butter and sprinkle with some flour.

Step 6. Divide the batter evenly to the ramekins and chill in the freezer for 30 minutes.

Step 7. Meanwhile, heat the oven to 400 °F or 204 °C.

Step 8. Take out the ramekins from the fridge and place them on a baking tray. Bake in the oven for 14 to 16 minutes. Take out the cakes from the oven and let sit for 10 minutes.

Step 9. Run the edges of the cake with a spatula and place a dessert plate on top of the ramekin. Carefully turn over the ramekin and unmold the cake. Serve and enjoy!

3. Crock Pot Lava Cake Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 box of chocolate cake mix
  • 1 box of instant chocolate pudding
  • 1 can chocolate fudge icing
  • 1 cup of chocolate chips
  • 1 ½ cups of milk
  • ½ cup of vegetable oil
  • 3 cups of milk
  • 3 eggs

Instructions:

Step 1. Grease the inside of your Crock-Pot slow cooker with oil or butter.

Step 2. In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, 1 ½ cups of milk, vegetable oil, and eggs. Beat the mixture with a mixer for about 2 minutes or until smooth.

Step 3. Pour the mixture into the slow cooker.

Step 4. Prepare another bowl and combine the instant chocolate pudding and 3 cups of milk. Mix until smooth and pour on top of the first layer of mixture in the slow cooker.

Step 5. Heat the chocolate fudge icing in a microwave with the lid open for 15 seconds. Add the chocolate fudge icing into the slow cooker.

Step 6. Sprinkle the chocolate chips on top and cook the mixture on high for 3 to 3.5 hours or until cooked through.

Step 7. Transfer to a plate and serve. Bon appetite!
