If you are trying to avoid pesky tan lines, take your clothes off at Black's Beach is the right choice. Besides getting sun, this clothing-optional stretch of coast is located deep beneath the cliffs of Torrey Pines. So, it's hidden and private, especially for people who sunbathe in the buff.

How to get there?

Because the access is a little bit difficult, so will need to through one or two steep trails going down from Torrey Pines gliderport. Then, continue through La Jolla Farms Road and Blackgold Road. Also, you can go through a challenging route by traveling northbound on Scripps pier sand.

You need to be so smart about the tide because if you go to Black's Beach by foot and the tide comes in, you will be stuck there. So,s you will need to wait until the tide goes out or go back to your start point. If you go back by cab,
you will spend about $7.

How about the ratio of men and women?

The ratio of men and women who come to this lovely nude beach is about 70% to 30%. Insecurity and embarrassment can be the reasons why women's percentage is lower. Also, some of them don't like to be stared at.
