Douthat State Park also has been a traditional family park since 1936, a member of the National Register of Historic Places for its role in the development of parks nationwide. Featuring Virginia’s most majestic mountain scenery, visitors can enjoy interpretive programs, fishing, swimming, boating, camping, hiking, and many more.

Douthat State Park is open every day from 6 AM to 10 PM. The park office is open from 8 AM to 4 PM every day.
