Tripboba.com - False Cape State Park is a state park located in Virginia, United States. The 4.321-acre state park was established in 1966. In the 1800s, False Cape was known as a ship graveyard and the state park received its name because of its land similarities with Cape Henry, a cape on the Atlantic shore, approximately in the northeast corner of Virginia Beach.

False Cape State Park doesn’t allow vehicles to enter the area of the state park, and one of the ways that you can access the park is by a tram at Little Island City Park. The tram ride will take you through the wildlife refuge and you will also be given one hour to explore the area of Barbour Hill contact station.

In addition to the tram, you can also access False Cape State Park by using the Terra Gator, a vehicle that is specially designed to access the state park area.
