558 campsites are provided for visitors to spend their night on the Hammonasset Beach State Park. You can do the reservation by calling toll-free 1-877-668-CAMP (2267). Check some phone reservation schedules below as well:

May 1 - September 1:

  • Monday - Wednesday: 8 am - 2:30 pm.

  • Thursday - Friday: 8 am - 6:30 pm.

  • Saturday and Sunday: 9 am - 12 pm.

Off-Peak Season:

  • Monday - Friday: 9 am - 12 pm

All the reservations can also be done online at Reserve America. You can use a credit card for the payment. If you do not have a credit card, you can use a money order or traveler's check when calling the toll-free number.

For each reservation and the cancellations or reservation changes, you just need to spend $9.00 per event. Hammonasset Beach State Park is allowed to do the reservation from 11 months to 1 day before the camping stay, and also there is a two-night minimum stay to reserve a site.

  • $35/night/campsite w/electric & water hook-up for CT residents plus a Processing Fee.

  • $30/night/campsite for non-CT residents plus a Processing Fee.

  • $45/night/campsite w/electric & water hook-up for non-CT residents plus a Processing Fee.

  • $70/night for CT residents/Rustic Cabins plus a Processing Fee.**

  • $80/night for non-CT residents/Rustic Cabins plus a Processing Fee.**

    Policies

    Before you reserve, make sure you watch some policies:

    • The price of a CT room occupancy tax is 15%. 

    • The maximum camping party is 6 people.

    • Cabins will not be rented to anyone under the age of twenty-one. The registrant accepts responsibility for all members of the camping party.

    • You are allowed to bring two vehicles per cabin site. All extra vehicles must be parked in the visitors parking lot.

    • Open flames such as candles, oil lamps, grills, etc., are prohibited inside the cabins.

    • Cooking or food preparation inside the cabin on the porch, ramp, or decking is not allowed. There are no Linens and cooking utensils in the cabin.

    • Do not smoke inside the cabins.

    • Do not bring your pets.

    • Attaching some hardware or other items to the walls is not allowed.

    • Painting, papering, or ruining cabin interior is prohibited.

    • It is not allowed to remove furniture, brooms, or floor mats from the cabin.

    • Toilet facilities are located nearby the cabin.

    • You are allowed to build only one tent on the cabin site.
