Jersey Zoo started out as the first conservation-themed zoo. 60 years later, Gerald Durrell's animal paradise is a natural place to find some of the world's most extraordinary creatures. If you’re looking for fun, knowledge, tranquillity, or a destination to soak up the sunshine, this beautiful 32-acre park with valleys, woodland and some of the world’s rarest animals is a great opportunity to explore and experience ‘the jewel in Jersey’s crown’.

1. Using Car
You are able to reach the park on the B31. There is free parking for more than 350 cars.
2. Bicycle
Going
to Jersey Zoo using your bicycle will let you enjoy a picturesque
countryside cycle ride. Take cycle routes 3a, 1 or 1b. In addition, bike
racks are provided on the premises.
3. By Public Bus
If you want to go to Jersey Zoo by bus, you can reach park routes 3, 13 and 23.

Jersey Zoo Cafe and Restaurant

1. Cafe Firefly
Offering a place in the beautiful new visitor center, Cafe Firefly offers more than just a restaurant! Al-fresco on the terrace at 'Firefly' means eating with friends which is truly rare in front of the 'cloud forest', along with Andean bears, howler monkeys and a stunning waterfall. The atmosphere is unmatched!
The menu provides striking quality and variety, from delicious breakfast options (including vegetarian) to full meals or light lunches. Many ingredients are sourced from the onsite organic farms!
The dessert range has turn into a local legend, with their
special banoffee pies attracting Islanders regularly! There is also a
cream tea with a variety of scones on offer, all of those are baked on
the premises, fresh, each morning.
2. Dodo Restaurant
Located on the grounds of the Jersey Zoo, Dodo provides a family friendly menu and a large area to match. Hot buffet choices, freshly made sandwiches, or delightful dishes from the à la carte menu can be enjoyed in the safe area of the indoor children's play area, or on the spacious terrace, overlooking the 'Discovery Desert' and its meerkats!
In addition, the
terrace also includes the 'Toni's' ice cream parlor, the pride of the
same original Italian owner, with a wide variety of quality frozen
treats, and coffee drinks, as well as tea for a quick stop during your
visit to the Zoo.
