Prospect Park Zoo Parking

This is where it gets tricky as there is no official Zoo Prospect Park parking by the zoo itself. You are able to find free parking along Flatbush Avenue. However, during the busy season or weekends, it may be more difficult to find (not impossible, but it may take a little while).

To save you time and convenience, it is advised to choose to park at Zoo Prospect Park in one of the nearby parking garages for a fee, usually between $ 18-30.

Jenuwen Parking Garage at 580-590 Flatbush Avenue is one good choice. They boast a valet parking garage alongside attendants on the east side of Prospect Park, only 12 minutes’ walk to the entrance of Zoo Prospect Park.

The parking choice at Zoo Prospect Park also has the choices of staying overnight in a special direction, if you park on that day you have to get off and pick up your car between 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM on weekdays and 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM at the end of the week.

Another good choice for parking Prospect Park Zoo in a paid garage is at 906 Union Street on President Street near the Grand Army Plaza. It is only a 15-minute walk to the entrance of the Brooklyn Zoo and provides a fast valet parking service.

If you just park for the day, you'll need to get off and pick up your car between 7:00 PM and 11:00 PM all day of the week. Remember that this parking garage and Zoo Prospect Park choice does not allow exotic vehicles to park here, possibly for liability and insurance reasons.
