The Bangkok National Museum was inaugurated by King Rama V, which initially functioned to store and exhibit the private collection and collection of his father, King Rama IV (King Mongkut). At that time, in 1887, the King moved the Royal Museum which was previously in the Concordia Pavilion (in the Grand Palace) to the former Wang Na Palace. This museum is a must-have for your trip in Bangkok. The location is very strategic, on the side of Sanam Luang, in front of the Grand Palace. Can be reached by comfortable Bangkok city buses, for example line 82.
This museum exhibits artifacts not only from Thailand but also from other countries such as chunks of Buddhist artifacts from Indonesia and Myanmar. In addition, there are ancient weapons and textiles from China, puppets from Vietnam, and many more that were sourced from state visit gifts, or were intentionally purchased from their original countries. Its cultural segments are also diverse, from Buddhist artifacts and history. This museum exhibits heirlooms from the Thai kingdom from its early dynasties to the present. In addition, you can find the history of Indian culture and its distribution in Southeast Asia, weapons from the age of bones, stones, to metal belonging to China, or just a throne belonging to the king of Thailand which is portable carried by dozens of people.
If you plan to take your children for a walk at night, Asiatique the Riverfront is a recommendation for the best place to go. Then, Cistrik Factory for all technology and electronic goods, and the Waterfront District for culinary centers. Surely, you will never miss this Thai food that tastes super delicious.
There are also many food and snack outlets inside Asiatique. Starting from Thai food to foreign countries such as Japan, Korean and Taiwanese snacks. There are bubble tea, mochi ice cream, mango snacks and many more, to accompany you for an evening stroll along Asiatique. Prices are cheap, around 25-50 baht. Meanwhile, if you want to shop, here is no less exciting. Starting from traditional Thai knick-knacks, to fashion products designed by local designers. One of my favorite shops is one that sells a variety of vintage items, from “old school” toys to fun house knick-knacks, bringing your own nostalgia for those who had toys like those sold here as a child.
This is a family favorite spot to spend the day playing, eating Thai food, etc.

Complete toy museum; suitable for toy fans. The toys provided range from animation action figures, Japanese Anime, and many more. You just need a little extra time to reach this place. Only the location is a bit difficult, you have to take a taxi or grab. And you can call first so this place can explain its location to the driver. Another family vacation destination in Thailand is the Chiang Mai Life Safari in Thailand. The concept is not much different from a safari park in general. Namely to get to know more closely the various wild animals that are placed based on their environment. In addition to seeing wild animals first hand, you and your family can also witness a variety of attractions which are certainly very amazing. For example, there are The Tiger Show, Creatures of the Night Show, Night Predators, and Time of the Night Show. There are also special shows during the day.
There is a lot you can do in Chiang Mai Night Safari, not just a night safari and exploring the three animal zones. You can feed the animals, take photos with the cubs, shop for cute souvenirs, test your physical coordination at the dancing fountain (Fun Plaza), or enjoy a laser light show as highly recommended when visiting Chiang Mai Night Safari.
