See a life-size replica of a Portuguese ship at the Epic Discovery Memorial. You can also learn about the history of Portuguese colonizers in Brazil here. Follow the guided tours provided by the museum to learn deeper about the documents and artifacts that are being exhibited. Also, check out the Safe Harbor Lighthouse overlooking the South Atlantic Ocean. This lighthouse is also one of the historical landmarks in Porto Seguro that is well-preserved until today.
