Cerro de Las Tres Cruces is a grassy hill with a monument and trails. This place is known as "Three Crosses Hill". There are big and amazing 3 crosses upon the hill. La Tertulia Museum is formerly a Museum of Modern Art La Tertulia. This is one of the most beautiful museums of Latin America that has an amazing collection of American and Colombian arts. There are 3 buildings you must stop by and check out. They are the main gallery with 3000 artworks, an art workshop for children, and a building for printing and restoration workshops. This museum is open every day, except Mondays.

The authentic food from Cali is Bandeja Paisa. It's a popular meal consists of white rice, red beans, ground beef, and other ingredients. You can find it at many Colombian restaurants. Also, there are Sancocho de Gallina and Arroz Collado to taste. For the drink, Cali is famous for its Lulada. This is a traditional drink made from the pulp of lulo and local fruits.


People in Cali speak Spanish with their unique Colombian accent. They call themselves Colenos. If you get new friends in Cali, there is a custom you need to know. Men greet one another with a handshake or loose hug. Meanwhile, men greet women with a handshake or a kiss on the right cheek. Zoológico de Cali is a famous zoo in Cali you must visit. Enjoy the natural area while watching the native and international species. You will see wonderful lions, bears, zebras, and other animals inside this zoo. This place is good to go with family or kids. Also, you can go to El Gato del Río. It's a very big cat sculpture with 3 tons of bronze. This sculpture was built by a Colombian artist, Hernando Tejada. Now, this place becomes a lovely park with 3 more cat sculptures and famous as the "Cat Park".

La Ermita Church is a Roman Catholic church with a beautiful Neo-Gothic style. You can get a good photo outside, with the building as your photo background. Also, you can take photos inside with the accompany of the 18th-century painting and Italian marble altar. Another spot is Cristo Rey. It's a monument of 85-feet Jesus Christ sculpture with panoramic scenery. Don't forget to capture the site too.
