The best times to visit Kühlungsborn for ideal weather are May 21st to September 16th based on average temperature and humidity.

HOTEL

The Meergut Hotel has one of the most beautiful restaurants in Kuhlungsborn. This hotel is huge and right at the end of the pedestrian area. Like many restaurants here, all the tables and chairs are at the front on the beach, as if ready to be piled up, but in May this year, there were only three of us inside. You can also stay at the Polar Hotel Stern in Kuhlungsborn. They have rooms on the top floor with a balcony overlooking the Baltic Sea. It is a beautiful hotel. It's been run by the family for years and famous for being very comfortable and spacious.

Pretty nice historical hotel with a great location at the beach.

The room is spottless with nice soft pillows, plenty of towels,and etc.

The breakfast restaurant/ room is unique with a great sea view.

he name was chosen carefully: the hotel as a fixed star, which reliably shows the way for travelers in all seasons. The Polarstern rises as the first star in the evening and is the last to clear the way for the sun in the morning.

RESTAURANT

There are two Edel & Scarf in Kuhlungsborn. One right on the beach opposite the Polar-Stern Hotel, which you can visit, and another in the marina. Edel & Scharf are wursts and sauces that are made superb, and Champagne on the side. Each pommes (chips) are an absolute taste sensation and perfectly cooked in boat shape to help you absorb the sauce a little better. The Bulow Steak Restaurant is part of the Polar-Stern Hotel. They were steak experts and also the first people to bring Halloumi to the area, years ago. So, for my dinner there, I ate my first steak and halloumi.

If it rains in Kuhlungsborn while you are there then 3 MowenHalle is the place. This means "3 Seagulls Hall" and a crazy golf course being built as a place to play golf, of course. The playground equipment and the hall are in very good condition.

Food and drinks are also available.
