Roque Nublo is the third height on the island of Gran Canaria, after Morro de la Agujereada with 1,956 meters, and Pico de las Nieves with 1,949 meters.

In the municipality of Santa Lucía, you can try typical dishes of Canary Island cuisine in one of the more popular restaurants, both in downtown Santa Lucía and in Vecindario. The best time to visit Lucia for the heat is from mid-August to the end of October when temperatures rarely drop below 31 °C. High humidity is a common occurrence in St. Lucia, but the north-east trade winds help to control levels from reaching uncomfortable levels.
