SIGHTSEEING

Balcón del Mediterráneo is well known as the Benidorm overlook which offers two beaches and a great view over the sea. It is located at the end of the Plaza Castelar, opposite the church of Santa Ana. Besides, you can also take an opportunity by seeing the Island of Benidorm, it's approximately around 65,000 square meter. It can be accessed by boat leaving the port and which has a good atmosphere and a restaurant available.

DOWNTOWN

You will be spoiled by the views from the cross which is spectacular both day and at night. It is situated at the top of the Sierra Gelada Natural reserve. Take a look at the history behind this, in 1962 the first cross appeared on the top of the Sierra Helada. Actually, the original cross which was made of wood and carried on the shoulders of the entire village from San Jaime church in the old town.

Benidorm has several typical foods you will probably try in some restaurants, like baby octopus, seafood-rice, oven-baked, and fish casserole.
