INTERESTING PLACE

Nothe Fort is a fort that was built between 1860 and 1872 to protect the harbors of Weymouth and Portland. Today, this fort is used as an open museum that features WWII memorabilia, canons, guns, as well as exhibitions and displays. Regular and annual events are often held here, some of them are military festivals, concerts, drama, and cultural Olympiad. Another historical landmark that cannot be missed in Weymouth is the Sandsfoot Castle. The castle that was built in the 16th-century is located by the seafront has lovely views of Portland and Weymouth.
