Capella Palatina’s art was influenced by the Byzantine civilization. Older than Palermo Cathedral and the interior is full of beautiful, classy mosaics. As the name implies, Palazzo dei Normanni was once the royal palace of Sicily. It is located next to the Palatine Chapel. The location that you can access in this building is the terrace in the middle of a very magnificent building, filled with aisles, tall pillars, and artifacts. When you come here, you can get two classic tourist spots at once. La Martorana is a cathedral that is decorated with various arts inside the building. Another one is the Cathedral of St. Mary of the Admiral, a church that keeps a variety of works of art in it. Mosaics and carvings decorate the entire interior of the building.
