When you’re traveling to Pyongyang, you will find many classic and modern architecture. Kumsusan Palace of the Sun is one of them. It was a palace built by Kim-Il Sung for him and her son. FOOD & DRINK

The most popular Korean cuisine is Kimchi. It’s made of fermented cabbage or radish with mixed of ginger, chili, scallions, and garlic. It is usually served alongside with Soju, Korean alcohol. Another famous cuisine from Korea is Bulgogi. It’s a marinated beef mixed with sugar, garlic, sesame oil, pepper, and soy sauce.

CULTURE

Cultural destination in Pyongyang is dominated by museums and monuments. The Korean Central History Museum is a museum that displays the history of Korea since the primitive society to the modern age. It is located at the north end of Kim Il-Sung Square. Places to eat in Pyongyang are mainly located in downtown. Ongnyugwan restaurant is popular for its Naengmyeon or cold noodle. Most people come to this restaurant because it's located at the edge of the Taedong River. There is also Mangyondae 1,000 Seat Restaurant with one thousands seats that you must see directly.
