See the Stanford campus and the whole city at the top of the Hoover Tower. This tower is a 285-feet structure that stand on the campus of Stanford University. It houses the Hoover Institution Library and Archives, an archive collection founded by the Herbert Hoover before he became President of the United States. With only $4 per adult, you’ll have a lift that takes you to the top of the tower. Not only the surroundings of the campus, nearby cities like San Francisco, San Jose, and other cities are beautifully visible. Other famous place you need to visit is Memorial Church. This historical church is located in the center of Stanford University. The church has five pipe organs which allows musicians to produce many styles of organ music. Even though the church has withstood two major earthquakes in 1906 and 1989, and it was extensively renovated after each earthquake, the church is still standing with its Romanesque style and Byzantine details. The stained-glass windows and extensive mosaics are based on religious paintings and the Stanford admired in Europe.
