Ashland - The Henry Clay Estate is located in the heart of Lexington Kentucky. The estate is approximately 1806 as its largest which includes over 600 acres. The tour guide will tell you about the life and legacy of Clay as long as 19th century mansion filled with family artifacts from all five generations of the Clay family or called Ashland home. The area consists of historic outbuildings, gardens, trees, and walking paths. In addition, there is a Ginkgo Tree Cafe to enjoy your lunch while overlooking the estate. It offers a selection of sides such as sandwiches, salads, soups, and desserts on Tuesday to Saturday 9 am 3 pm.
