The George Washington Masonic National Memorial was built in the 1920s. It is a memorial and museum including an active Masonic temple, research library, cultural space, community, and performing arts center. In 2015, the National Park Service named the Memorial a National Historic Landmark.

Alexandria City Hall is well known as the Alexandria Market House and City Hall. It was built in 1871 and designed by Adolp Cluss. In addition, this building was listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places in 1984. Take a look at the exterior of this building consisting of masonry bearing walls, wood ceiling and floor joists. The types and size of the windows are largely symmetrical. Oronoco Bay Park is located on the waterfront, it is a popular location for doing several fun activities such as picniking, walking, biking, and jogging. There are also festivals and special events held in the park during the summer season. People often came to celebrate the USA-Alexandria Birthday Celebration.
