INTERESTING PLACE

Visit the famous Lane Stadium in Blacksburg. This football stadium has a capacity of more than 650.00 seats. Located in the Virginia Tech, you can also visit the Hall of Fame museum on the west side of the stadium. The museum displays galleries of Hokie sports and the hall of fame athlete members. Another interesting place in the city is the April 16 Memorial. This memorial monument is also located at Virginia Tech. The monument was beautifully built to honor students that lost their lives in the April 16 tragedy, a school shooting that killed 32 students of the university. You can see 32 Hokie Stones that represent every life taken in the tragedy.

Take pictures in Smithfield Plantation. It is a restored house that is now used as a museum. The museum features costumed interpreters, artifacts, and demonstration gardens. The house is surrounded by beautiful land and gardens that are indeed picturesque to capture. Another good spot to take photos is Burchard Hall on Virginia Tech campus. The hall was built for the architecture and industrial design programs in the School of Architecture + Design. The highlight of the building is the giant pyramidal glass over the hall.
