Almaden Lake Park is a 32-section of man-made land lake and was formed as a result of the quarry activity from the late 1940s.

Visitors to Almaden Lake Park can enjoy activities that include hiking, jogging, and cycling.

Almaden Lake Park is divided into two sides, referred to as the Eastside, which runs parallel to Winfield Boulevard and the West side of the park along Almaden Expressway.

The park has two parking lots. The east side parking lot is located off Winfield Boulevard, just south of Coleman Road. The eastern lot allows access to Quicksilver, Southpoint, and Arroyo picnic areas and the Los Alamitos Creek Trail.
