Visiting Birmingham is one of the great countries to travel to. If you plan to enjoy and travel around Birmingham for a little while, you can do it in several ways. You can start by visiting The Birmingham Botanical Gardens. Beautiful gardens with the most exciting and varied plants. An excellent and very inexpensive day out. The greenhouse has an extensive collection of interesting plants. The grounds are well laid out with some lovely flowers and trees. A small restaurant provides something to eat and drink. There are several toilet facilities about the place and a small gift shop. Then you can visit the existing beach, namely Thinktank Science Museum. A fantastic day out for the family, excellent activities for all ages, combined with a unique educational environment, good amenities, and food options at a reasonable price too. The think tank is fantastic! Each floor is packed with exciting things, and you can have fun and learn at the same time. Each floor also has interactive play! The play area is excellent workstations for children, including hairdressing and construction, where kids can be in charge.

The Birmingham Botanical Gardens

Such a lovely place to walk around with the family.

The green house has a large collection of interesting plants.

Sit and have a lovely picnic outside and there are free roaming peacocks and peahens and even a baby one.

The gardens are very pleasant and as an added bonus there is a band playing.

There are some beautiful spots and good to pass some time.

If you are looking for a place to take pictures and Birmingham's icon, you can visit Cadbury World. Great fun and worth a trip if in Birmingham. Be careful with the chocolate shop in the end; you may end up leaving with kilograms of chocolate!! Fantastic day out regardless of age; there is an opportunity to take a family photo halfway through. All the animals look to be in excellent condition and are very active, especially the penguins and sea otters swimming around quite fast. A perfect place for a family visit. Always find reasonable offers for discounted tickets plus can get a combo ticket to go with Legoland at a significant saving. Kids and adults stay entertained, time flies by quickly.

TGI Fridays - Birmingham Hagley Road is one of the lovely restaurants. A nice restaurant with great American and Mexican food in a great diner setting with various sports and activity themed memorabilia. The staff is polite and helpful, and the food was delicious. Plenty of parking behind the restaurant. After that, you can also eat at Bodega Cantina | Birmingham. Lovely and authentic South and North American cuisine. The Mexican food is beautiful, and it is great to see a bar using cachaca as it is a beautiful spirit. Fantastic food, nachos are unique - not your standard nachos you get in the supermarket. Two for one cocktail don't have to be the same one, quite strong. Worth booking a table though, very popular for a good reason!
