El Comal | Mexican Restaurant is another option to eat. The food is always great. The service is still excellent! Taco Tuesday is becoming a family tradition. The food is perfect, and it's a family environment. The owners are very humbled people.
To make this trip a memorable one, you can end it with shopping gift items at Off The Beaten Path Antiques & Gifts. It is one of our most favorite places. The staff members are always friendly & you never know what treasure you will find. From homemade gifts, yummy cheesecake mixes to fantastic handmade furniture (not too shabby), it's a place to go and enjoy walking down memory lane or look to add something new to your home. There are many gift shops located near the park, Wrapsody of Hoover is another good recommendation for you. Excellent place to buy last-minute gifts or find something unique. Customer service is excellent, and wrapping is just part of their deal to do shopping that much easier. Great place to buy gifts for almost any occasion.
