So far, the most well-known attraction at MacKerricher State Park is Glass Beach. It is virtually covered in ocean smoothed glass parts, making it in a bright and sparkling shoreline.

MacKerricher State Park Campground is situated on Highway 1 (along the Mendocino Coast). It has 143 single-family campgrounds for tents, trailers and RVs (up to 35 feet). There are four circle regions (West Pinewood, East Pinewood, Cleone and Surfwood) in the campsite. Some of the campsites have decent shade under huge trees. There are no hookups. Campgrounds 65-105 are reservable all year. Two group (tent-only) campgrounds are likewise available. They can accommodate 40 and 60 campers.
The campsite has modern bathrooms with flush latrines and hot showers, a RV dump station as well as visitor center. Every campground has a table, fire ring and barbecue. Firewood is likewise ready for sale at the campsite/host. Generators are allowed; however, they can just be operated from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
