You can start by visiting The Ripley's Believe It or Not!. Ripley's Believe It or Not is a must!! There's always the coolest things to see (and downright bizarre)! This particular Ripley's Believe It or Not is located in beautiful Panama City Beach, Florida. You can enjoy the white sandy beaches and beautiful emerald water. They offer military discounts. Then you can visit the existing beach, namely Gatlinburg Mountain Coaster. A must-try if you're in the area. Even if you don't like roller coasters, this could be a fun experience. You can control how fast your little coaster goes with breaks so that you can either go fast or stroll along. What a fun and memorable experience. It is a well-maintained attraction with charming people running it.

The best times to visit the Gatlinburg area from March through September and October.
Visiting the Gatlinburg landmark? You can see the Gatlinburg Space Needle. Great view. You can stay up there as long as you like. Three hundred sixty degrees of fantastic smoky mountain views. There's a pretty big arcade at the bottom of the needle where everyone starts their journey. You take an elevator ride up. It's a little slow, but the good news is that they build a second elevator, which looks like it is almost done. A must-do and see. Best views of Gatlinburg and the mountains. Get oriented, know where you want to go next.
If you are looking for a place to take pictures and Gatlinburg's icon, you can visit Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies. This beautiful aquarium is just the most impressive and immersive subterranean experience possible. There are numerous jaw-dropping fossilized displays, interactive penguin and stingray exhibits, and a brilliant shark and sea turtle exhibition that you have got to see to believe. The shows are excellent, with fantastic views of each animal and a wide variety of them to see. Anakeesta is the next popular place. Anakesta is a beautiful family-oriented nature park. It can do be a romantic day or evening for two. Incredible views, and you can have a delicious burger overlooking the valley. Prices are very reasonable, and if you are in the area, it is a must-see. Amazing views, beautiful flowers, shops, restaurants, you can walk on the tree bridge, zip line, and so much more. Halloween decorations look fantastic. The hunted house last year was scary, excited, and do much fun.
Looking for a hotel to stay? Brookside Resort can be your choice. This 10-acre woodland lodge is 1 mile from Ripley's Believe It or Not. It features minifridges, microwaves, cable TV, coffeemakers, and private balconies overlooking the water. There are an exercise room and a basketball court, laundry facilities, a hot tub, and two outdoor pools with a slide and a waterfall. Hilton Garden Inn Gatlinburg is another best hotel that you can book. This eco-chic hotel is an 8-minute walk from the Gatlinburg Convention Center. Cooked-to-order breakfast is available (fee), and there's an on-site American restaurant, as well as a lounge and a 24/7 pantry.
Crockett's Breakfast Camp is one of the lovely restaurants. One of the best places for breakfast in the area! It is a spot that attracts tourists, but it's worth the long waits on the weekends. Do yourself a favor and join the waitlist online/over the phone before showing up. The menu is loaded with attractive options, highlighted by their massive pancakes and cinnamon rolls. You'll find yourself in a food coma after an encounter with any of these or their stuffed french toast. Log Cabin Pancake House is beautiful, and it is great to see a bar using cachaca as it is a lovely spirit. This place is fantastic and delicious. It is a bustling place, but they got everyone in quick and served us too quickly. Recommend this place! French Toast Royal is the signature dish, so it's a must-have. But the everyday breakfast foods are anything but a run of the mill.
Amazing place to eat very large portions awesome decor and great waitress.
The inside is beautifully decorated like a rustic cabin.
This place has the friendliest folks and some absolutely amazing food.
The waffle is topped with cinnamon apples and whipped cream.

There are many great places that you should check for shopping, and gift hunting around the area of Gatlinburg, including these two lovely gift shops, called the Celtic Shop, Gatlinburg, and Jonathan's "The Bear Necessities". Celtic Shop, Gatlinburg, is the recommended store. Super little store right off the strip. The owner is fantastic and goes above and beyond to source items direct from artisans instead of mass producers. This shop is certainly worth the visit. Never know what you'll find. Jonathan's "The Bear Necessities" is another recommended store. It's a lovely little gift shop in downtown Gatlinburg! Great stuff and great gifts. They've got all the stickers you could want, magnets, postcards, T-shirts, hats, mugs you name it. It's a nice little store. Stop in here, the employees are friendly and helpful, and you'll find things you need and things you don't need, but you do want.
