CAMPING

For camping purposes around Lackawanna State Park, the campers are allowed to camp at designated areas only. The amenities for camping at Lackawanna State Park include a playground, ADA accessible campsites group tenting area, ADA sites, Accessible restrooms, picnic tables, and many more. Pet camping is allowed in this park. So, if you want to bring along your lovely pets, please do it. A convenient store is available less than a mile from the campsite. Also, firewood and bait are available less than a mile.

Following the regulation of Governor Wolf, the park's visitors are required to wear face masks around the area of Lackawanna State Park and in all areas of the pool complex. Each member who enters the pool must wear a designated face mask. Social distancing and mitigation requirements are enforced in the park due to the spreads of COVID-19. The pool area is limited to 75 percent of the full capacity only. Always keep your hands clean by washing or sanitizing your hands regularly and also avoid touching your face, eyes, the nose too often.
