(3) Know that cowboy boots and hats are totally formalwear. (4) Explore many of its stunning offerings. The state’s natural beauty is fairly untouched. (5) Do hunting, fishing, and farming. These are literally life in Montana. (6) The quickest way to earn a Montanan’s respect is to work hard.
Don’ts: (1) Don’t use pissy as in “Boy was he pissy this morning!” The locals instead use “gnarly,” “owly,” or “snaky.” (2) Never tap a cowboy on his shoulder from behind and don’t touch the hat. (3) Don’t call a rancher’s spread a farm. Farmers live east and north of here. (4) Never try to fit in, it just won’t work. (5) Almost everyone in Montana carries a gun, or at least at their home. If guns make you nervous, Montana is probably not the right place for you.

Montana also has Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument as one of its popular places. This national park comes with vast grassy fields and memorials that marks the site of Custer’s Last Stand.
