If you only have a day to travel on this beach, don’t worry. There is an array of fun activities you can do in one day only. Start your day in Breakers for breakfast. This is a place that you can relax, eat, and see the beach. They have a wide variety of food and what you have excellent quality. Take an interpretative program on the Orchid farm to see the beautiful plants. Shelldance Orchid Gardens has a collection of plants and succulents are just fantastic and it is such a cool experience just walking through the greenhouses. Pacifica State Beach is definitely a beach for more advanced surfers. This is a really nice beach. Be sure to bring some layers, and a sturdy tent if you want to do a beach picnic, as it gets very windy.

THINGS TO DO FOR FREE

If a restful and serene vacation is your plan on this trip, Pacifica State Beach is the perfect place to seek for it. Mori Point is a hiking area that you can do. Nice hike next to the ocean, can get pretty steep at a few places but overall a nice easy hike for the family. Another place to spend your time near Pacifica State Beach is Oddstad City Park. Tiny picnic area with a play park and only one grill. There are 3 picnic tables at the top of the hill.

Brink Swimming Pool is very comfortable water conditions with regular water aerobics classes and lap swimming open to the public for limited hours every day. The place is huge and has space for open play lap swimming and for the brave ones a very high diving board.

Go to Nick's Rockaway. Located just by the ocean, Nick’s’ view especially at the sunset is gorgeous. Garlic bread and clam chowder are really good. The people there are so friendly and the all-around vibe is amazing. Meanwhile, Taco Bell can be the best option to rescue your hunger. The most famous taco bell didn't disappoint. This is honestly a shockingly nice location. There's a back deck overlooking the beach, a fireplace indoors, and the dining area, in general, is spacious and well decorated.

BAR AND NIGHTLIFE

Moonraker has a great view of the Pacific from any spot at the restaurant. This bar is ambiance and comfort offered along with drinks and live piano. The place has a great romantic atmosphere, just make sure to either come early or come when the days are longer to see some great ocean views. Meanwhile, Cheers of Pacifica is a great place with a decent atmosphere and friendly people. Great place for a drink or party on karaoke nights lots o fun anytime. A casual place to have drinks. You can bring your dogs here.
