Balmorhea State Park is a 46-acre state park located on the San Solomon Springs in Reeves County, Texas.

Besides, you can explore "cienegas" or known as desert wetlands. It is home to endangered fish and other wildlife. The park is open every day from 8 AM to 5 PM. The entrance fees are USD 7 daily and children under 12 years old are free.

It will be better if you come in the morning, you can grab some meals at The PupFish Café. But, it only opens on weekends and some weekdays. The cafe also rents and sells some water recreation items. After that, you can do some things which are available in the park. Swimming is the first thing you should do after having some meals, there is no lifeguard. It will be perfect if you end all day long activities by enjoying the playground for a family gathering at a picnic site. There are some outdoor sports.
