Caledonian MacBrayne in United Kingdom

Tremendous adventure on a very warm and sunny October.

Good experience & friendly staff. Great service. Friendly and approachable staff. Would recommend highly. The crossing to Skye is very quick. Only £11 for a motorcycle and two people.

Quick but uncomfortable A quick ferry to the Isle of Skye. Unfortunately you couldn't get out of your car because it was completely fully booked and there was no space to open your car door.

Efficient Ferry We used Caledonian MacBrayne to travel across Skye to mainland Scotland on a Saturday morning on MV Loch Fyne. We departed from Armadale at 9:45 and arrived in Mallaig at 10:15.

The big draw for many visitors is Skye, just a short 30 minute crossing from the mainland and yet a whole other world away once there. But don't let that overshadow the many charms of Raasay and the Small Isles too.
