Absolutely worth a visit Les bastilles Climb up a few steps from the old city of Saint Tropez and you find the nice old fortress which includes a lovely museum of the sea, historical regional scenes.

Belle vue Nice view from the roof terrace, the museum is interesting. Free parking just next to the citadelle in the low season.

For over 400 years, the Citadel rings the city. Element of the defence of the port the most important between Antibes and Toulon for centuries, it is now one of the few monuments of this magnitude of the Var coast.
