Drobak Akvarium - Oslofjorden Marinbiologiske Senter in Norway

Quaint A small quaint aquarium. Somewhat outdated. The restroom was disgustingly dirty. We visited just after they opened for the day.

Local fish showcased This is a modest aquarium that would likely take the average visitor an hour to enjoy. It is easy to locate on the harbour edge and the self check-in makes accessing the exhibit a snap.

Better than expected! The Aquarium in Drøbak is not big, but if you have the time there are quite some creatures from the sea to look at.

Norway is traditionally a seafaring nation, with a history of sailing, whaling and polar exploration that dates back to the Vikings. The ocean remains important to Norway, and the Oslo fjord is unique. Many of Norway's five million inhabitants live along this fjord, and it bears the weight of multipurpose usage. The Oslo fjord has a high diversity of marine life that you can see at the aquarium. Tickets: Children (4 to 14) 50 NOK Adult 70 NOK Children up to 4 years is free Payment (card/Visa/MasterCard)
