Eckley Miners' Village in United States

Coal Miners Granddaughter My family tree contains a few coal miners so I can truly appreciate what they had to endure to eek out a living.

Loved our visit Loved our visit to see how the miners lived. The houses are in excellent condition. Bit of a walk up the hill but plenty to see.

Good Museum Parking: Plenty of parking. It took us about 20 minutes to get here from 81. There were signs along the road to lead us here. Museum: Very interesting information.
