Hester Street Fair in United States

Hester Street Fair

Heaart of the ghetto Hester Street is on Manhattan's Lower East Side. Hester Street and Delancey Street were the centre of New York's Jewish community a hundred years ago. Now you would have more fun in nearby Chinatown.

Not worth a side trip We popped in here as our hotel was close. Some handicrafts, some food and some drink options. Took about 5 mins to browse everything but otherwise not worth a stop. Is what it is.

Brasil Fest I went for the Brasil Fest. As we enter the area there were checking I.D. And placing a green wrist tag on people to be able to buy alcoholic beverages. Nice.

Daily Candy: "Some of our favorite fashion and food vendors". Hester Street Fair is the place to go on the Lower East Side of NYC for good vintage clothes, jewelry, bikes, furniture, crafts, art, flowers and much more. Come by and see why the NY Times has called the Hester Street Fair a "tasting destination"...Lobster Rolls, Vietnamese Banh-mi Sandwiches, Gourmet Popsicles, Hand Rolled Organic Pretzels...Open every Saturdays and Sundays 11am-6pm.
