nature working in harmony had a great tour. lucky enough to pick a day when they did a wonderful tour invoving snakes. the girl who give the lecture so well versed. got to touch the snakes awesome .

Disappointed We were at Meigs Point on July 1, 2019 and the new center was actually closed. We had been looking forward to seeing it again. The old center was open. We'll try again.

Lovely New Center This is a great place to take kids. They have several aquariums and a touch tank for kids of all ages and a gentle, caring staff. They also have a multi-purpose learning center.

Meigs Point Nature Center is an exciting and vital environmental learning center open to all ages at Hammonasset Beach State Park. The Nature Center is host to a variety of native animals, including: turtles, snakes, amphibians, crabs and fish. Most of the animals at the Nature Center cannot be released because of previous previous injuries or for other reasons, but are well cared for.
