Mississippi River Museum at Mud Island in United States

If you like quiet nights and shade on the beach, don't go here. Food was good, but I've had better. Staff was excellent. Accommodations were good. Pools were good. BUT*** there was very little shade on the beach.

Mississippi wading This was a Mother's Day trip through TN for our mother, starting in the east side and driving to Memphis. The museum was a treasure trove of historical information.

Nice place to spend a day learning about Mississippi River life. Toured the Museum and really enjoyed all the exhibits, including paddle wheel mock-up. Also walked the scale model of the Mississippi River and its tributaries. .
