An "awesome one" of national history (minus the colonial) :) Not much of an "enticing building" (as I would put it) from outside as it is a former prison (with some of these wrought-iron doors inside which likely have been there...

Sometimes jumbled, but so much to see and experience. History and art all under on roof. The history sections were well laid out.

Colombia's oldest museum holds a vast collection of archeological artifacts, as well as modern art. The building itself is interesting — it's a former prison and many of the galleries are inside former prison cells.
