Old Jail Museum in United States

Carbon County Jail

Lackluster experience I visited this museum the day it re-opened after Covid.

spoopy Great tour, a bit creepy for my younger one but a great experience. There's no upstairs tour during covid.

Interesting tour! We almost missed the last tour of the day, but we made it just in time, and we were very glad we did. Very interesting building with lots of history. Our tour of the Old Jail Museum was great.

Jail built in 1871 & used as County Jail until 1995. Seven Irish Coal Miners known as The Molly Maguires were hanged here. Learn Irish, Coal Mining & Jail History Open May through October Subject to change without notice. Please visit our website for tour dates & times
