Patapsco Valley State Park in United States

Nice trip by the river We tried to go to the Daniels area but there were only a few parking spaces and they were all full. We went further down to the Hollofield area and was able to park for $2.

Very nice but navigation is difficult We've only been once and I can see why it is so highly rated - the Avalon area has a very kid friendly river that's close to the parking lot and bathrooms, a pretty bridge and nice hikes.

Nice if you can get inside I prefer the Avalon area of the park. It is a nice area to hike in. However navigating is very confusing and it's easy to get lost.
