Rosenbach Museum and Library in United States

Outside of the Rosenbach Museum & Library on historic Delancey Place in Rittenhouse Square

A rare museum of books This place has been a museum since the 1960s although I believe it became open without appointment in the late 1980s but I maybe wrong on that.

Hidden Gem I absolutely love this museum. Highly recommend taking one of their private tours because it reveals so much about the Rosenbachs, how they lived and their fabulous collection. There's nothing else like it in the U.

Hidden gem and a must for history buffs I like to plan trips for friends to expose them to more of Philly than the iconic places.

The Rosenbach Museum & Library seeks to inspire curiosity, inquiry, and creativity by engaging broad audiences in exhibitions, programs and research based on its remarkable and expanding collections. With an outstanding collection of rare books, manuscripts, furniture, and art, the Rosenbach is a museum and world-renowned research library, set within two historic 1865 townhouses, that reflects an age when great collectors lived among their treasures.
