The Herring Era Museum in Iceland

Incredible museum with interesting exhibition, original artefacts are exhibited.

Excellent displays, some old boats and machinery, and old photos.

Provides excellent history of the area and the Herring industry which was vital to Iceland for much of the 20th century.

It is so cool that you can see and touch the exhibits closely.

The craft of the museum is surprisingly well done.
